Om Va Bene
Located right across from the train station, Glossop’s Va Bene restaurant is a little taste of La Dolce Vita in Derbyshire. Sleek black banquettes contrast with the clean white walls, curving scarlet bar, Florentine chandelier and fresh flower, letting the food take centre stage. And a commanding presence it is, particularly the justifiably famous 24-inch family pizza, freshly baked in the open-flame pizza oven. Families are well catered for at Va Bene, and kids can even help to create their own pizza. Pastas, fish and meat dishes and lighter bites are also available from an extensive menu of Italian hits.

I came across Va Bene by chance on the net and what a little gem it is. The food was excellent. The waiting on staff were very attentive and helpful. Can't really find anything bad to say about this lovely little place. Bit of problem parking near the restaurant. Would certainly recommend Va Bene to friends and will back again in the future.
