This hulking hub of sporting prowess has been flexing its muscles on the Newcastle restaurant scene long enough to make it the city's premier sports-watching destination. The Sports Café boasts five bars, 12 pool tables, a basement nightclub and a 'team room' with four HD screens, officially making it an all-singing, all-dancing entertainment extravaganza. Popular for corporate events and parties, The Sports Café restaurant has a classic American menu that is perfect for sharing. Favourites include the American Platter with sour cream and bacon potato skins, BBQ ribs, Buffalo wings and onion rings; the Surf 'n' Turf 8oz burger topped with tempura prawns; and the nachos with cheese, jalapenos, guacamole, salsa and sour cream.
