Celebrated in China, Shanghai cuisine features flavours you won’t find on familiar Chinese menus and this restaurant is a beautiful, elegant space to explore it in. Exquisite wooden screens, natural stone, gold artefacts combine with sleek, modern design to create a brilliant atmosphere. Shanghaiye’s award-winning chefs create dishes like typical Shanghai siew long bun and dim sum baskets, steamed whole soy sauce sea bass, and special tea smoked duck, among others. Well-chosen wine list, or drink authentic dark tea with chrysanthemum.

Expecting anglo-fied chinese dishes, we were pleasantly surprised with the authenticity of Shanghaiye's cuisine! Slightly more than what you'd pay in chinatown but well worth it.

Shanghaiye was a lovely surprise, from the area where it is you wouldnt expect such a nice interior. Although we ate mid week and it was quiet we had a very enjoyable experience. We tried a set meal for two as we wanted to experience the different dishes and it was fabulous. The wine we chose was excellent and the service was excellent. I would definitely return.Recension
The shanghaiye was a lovely reataurant, well laid out with excellent food. As i went on a sunday it was rather quiet also it was between the christmas and new year period. The food was excellent in quality and was quick to be bought out however i felt as though the staff were in a rush to take our plates as they were watching me intently.Besökare
