Room (Liverpool) - Excellent food and drink in a relaxed environment. Only one point to complain about and that is the added Service Charge. I always leave a tip, so I don't like the idea of being forced to pay for this privelage (or asking for it to be removed if the service etc was poor.) Overall we enjoyed fantastic food with excellent service.

The Room - Liverpool talks about "food with a twist" but the menu was not well explained and the "mousaka" turned out disappointingly to be strips of underdone lamb, and crispy/burnt aubergine. The service became slower and slower as the Saturday evening wore on and obviously short staffed the toilets were a disgrace. The Air conditioning was not working and the restaurant became uncomfortably warm. We have had many fine meals with Top Table in some great restaurants - this was not one of them,Recension
Room is nicely fitted out in modern style. The menu is extremely short on description of the dish - you get the briefest detail, for example "Scotch Egg" as the name of the dish, with "Brasied Oxtail" underneath, or "Moules Mariniere" and "Black Bream" underneath.As a consequence, our server had to spend considerable time explaining each dish, but her knowledge of the menu was good. Food was well presented, prices were reasonable and best value was the assortment of desserts for all to share.Besökare
