Located in lovely Shepton Mallet and within easy reach of all of Somerset’s finest sights, Rendezvous@The Thatched Cottage is a thoroughly British retreat with a touch of class. As you may well expect the exterior of this venue is chocolate box pretty and the Mendips setting spectacular. But inside you’ll be surprised to find barely a hint of country chintz. Instead the restaurant’s fine features – beamed ceiling, wood framed windows, tiled floors – are complimented by a clean, bright décor which gives the building a light, airy feel which will appeal to city weekenders and tourists searching for a slice of old English bliss as much as local diners who rave about Rendezvous’ locally sourced menu.

Rendezvous has been awarded an AA rosette for its excellent food.
