Raj Pavilion is among Tunbridge Wells’ most popular restaurants, loved by locals (and what better recommendation is there?). A spacious dining room, spread over two levels and staffed by speedy, attentive waiters, is generally buzzing throughout the week. The food, meanwhile, covers the traditional Indian restaurant fayre well loved by us Brits, balanced out by fantastic house specials which include plenty of unusual dishes to surprise even the most jaded of restaurant goers. And if you like your dinner with a show live music and entertainment is regularly on the menu too.

Fantastic! wide selection of choices and waiters always willing to help describe and recommend dishes. lovely dinner and lovely atmosphere. will be back!

We had eaten at the Raj Pavilion a few times previously and had take aways from here but we took friends and had the most brilliant evening. The service was exceptional and there was some live music too. The meal for 12.99 was brilliant and we had some extras and it was still a brilliant price, Easily the best Indian Ive had in the South East (and ive had a few!)

Recension

Awful service despite being empty. We had to request the wine list 3 TIMES and had to remind staff to deliver the wine at the end of our starters. Would have been nice to have wine with our starters. The manager was apologetic for the 'LOUSY SERVICE' (his quote) but his staff didn't seem to care - one waiter was wearing tracksuit bottoms and flip flops. The manager tried to make up for this with friendly chat and a complimentary drink but it wasn't enough. Average food. I will not return
