If you can imagine a restaurant with the ambience of a buzzing city restaurant serving traditional Indian cuisine – you’ve got the formula for the super-stylish yet informal Pepper Dining in Uckfield. The moody lighting, dark wood furniture, banquette seating and gorgeous fresh flowers give the restaurant a chic, intimate feel. The authentic Indian menu boasts distinctive flavours, our favourites being the king prawn govi, Hydrabad lamb curry and the South Indian fish curry. The food is beautifully presented, and the service is faultless. Pepper Dining is a local East Sussex gem, perfect for dates and a meeting place for nights out with friends.

Recension

It was a pity that we were the only ones dining on the night we went as the food was excellent obviously freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. All 3 diners had different styles of lamb curry all succulent just pink, the sauces delicately flavoured and not overpowering. The service was attentive but not overly so. We would certainly go back to try some of the other unusual dishes on the menu

Pepper Dining was something of a 'find' for us. We had just moved into the area from London and were really not expecting a Spice restaurant of this quality.
