For the ultimate in decadent dining, jump on board the Orient Express Northern Belle train. This opulent dining room on wheels epitomises the early 20th century golden age of rail, and every carriage has been meticulously designed – with specially commissioned fabrics, brassware and marquetry by British craftsmen - to reflect the castle or stately country home it's been named after. Executive Chef Matthew Smith has created a quintessentially British menu for the Northern Belle, and signature dishes include the Sussex poacher and caramelised apple served with a truffled Welsh rarebit; and the trilogy of beef with tartare of beef, hot salt beef served with pickled gherkins, and the Hadiesmill smoked cured beef. The Northern Belle is the perfect place for celebrating special occasions.
