The Olive Press in Clitheroe is another brilliant example of the Heathcote group’s passion for quality and freshness. A short stroll from the station and the teensy Norman keep, The Olive Press is modern in the most comfortable way, with a sleek design of leather, glass and wood and a welcoming curved bar where you can sample fab antipasti from the barside robarta grill. The main menu focuses on long-time favourite Italian dishes like stone-baked pizzas and artisan pastas and the Little Olives children’s menu with its healthful dishes and make-your-own pizza options is a hit with families. Open from morning coffee to late suppers, with excellent service all the time.
