Nouvelle Spice is a lively little Indian restaurant in the New Cross Road in south London. Locals, art students and starry-eyed couples all descend upon this bustling restaurant for cheap and delicious curries every night of the week. The intimate dining room has wooden walls and tables, marble floors and a screen showing fabulous and colourful Bollywood musicals. With a fun crowd, friendly service and proximity to New Cross Gate station and Goldsmith’s College, Nouvelle Spice is the perfect place to grab a cheap and cheerful curry with friends. Favourite dishes include the Prawn Bhuna, Lamb Roghan and the Chicken Tikka Massala.

Please give 24 hours notice for any cancellations. There is a B.Y.O.B. policy. Soft drinks and juices available in-house.

Recension

Nouvelle Spice has great food, with excellent tasty curries. The portion was sizeable. There were different types of curries, and is definitely above the normal curry houses. Would recommend it!

Nouvelle Spice has a large menu and it took me a while to choose what to have. The starter was very nice, but the chef's special I had for main, was only ok. I would not like to critise the food, and would return to try one of the many other dishes I was tempted by. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was ok - the large television when showing sport was annoying, but when showing a bollywood movie added to the ambience and provided a talking point if needed. I liked 'bring your own bottle;

Very relaxed , simple but clean decor. Good service, great food, huge range of dishes available, good value for money. Love it!
