Om Moreno Carusi
Moreno Carusi restaurant in the heart of Berlin’s new administrative and banking district is an oasis of traditional Italian food and welcoming ambience in this part of town. Chef Moreno Carusi brings the classic cuisine from his native Abruzzo region and enlivens it with his own gourmet innovations. Watch through the window as he creates dishes like antipasto, steamed stuffed zucchini flowers, pastas, duck with honey and rosemary, and superb melting chocolate cake. The dining room is elegant and cosy, with white table linens and all the style that Italy is famous for. The wines range from Italy to Canada. You may well meet the chef – he loves to come out of the kitchen and meet the clients.

We had a lovely business dinner at Moreno Carusi for a group of 14. Weather was nice enough that we could sit outside, and blankets were thoughtfully provided as the evening cooled down. Food is authentically Italian, unfussy, but well executed. We were offered a selection of antipasti and mains as we were such a large group rather than going off the menu which worked really well. Staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and helpful.

Moreno Carusi is a pleasant dining experience, we ate outside on a very warm night. Service was a little slow as there seemed to be only two waiting staff. Food was fresh and full of flavour, the lamb with peppers particularly good.Besökare
