Om Mirabelle - Rome
Mirabelle restaurant in Rome is a Michelin-starred, gloriously lavish, exceeds-all-expectations superstar. The mirrored seventh-floor dining room with its sumptuous pale gold décor and elegant crystal and china frames a magical rooftop view of the Eternal City. Chef Giuseppe Sestito uses superbly-sourced ingredients for haute cuisine dishes like artfully-presented seabass tartare with fennel salad and orange, oven-baked rack of lamb pre-sale with rosemary, and the famous Settimo Cielo – ‘Seventh Heaven’ – dessert. The excellent wine list is mostly Italian with some heavy hitters from beyond. Manager Bruno Borghesi, formerly of The Ritz, leads formal, friendly service, attracting jet setters, politicians and other beautiful people. Wear a jacket and be ready to have your senses ravished.

A credit card is required to reserve a table, if there is availability for all bookings - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of 100€ per person will be charged for a cancellation within 24 hrs or for a no show

Restaurant is fabulous but bit too expensive. I eat all the time at various michelin star restuarants in London but the total bill in this restaurant took me by surprise. It came to %u2AC400 for 2 people. Having said that the views from this restaurant are too good...reserve a table outside on the terrace or atleast sit next to the glass wall overlooking the city. Overall a good experience but one must pay a lot to enjoy it.

I would recommend Mirabelle in Rome to anyone looking for a highly romantic restaurant with a beautiful view of the eternal city, and a traditional grace. Half of the food was exceptional, the other half was average. The service was fantastic and the staff were very helpful, however I would not return to Mirabelle in a hurry due to the cost...Recension
Nothing but spectacular...! The Mirabelle restaurant situated on the 7th floor of the Hotel Splendide Royal, has both indoor and terrace tables but my recomendation would be for a terrace table with beautiful views over Rome. The service was attentive but not overpowering with a great sommelier providing some fantastic wines. I could not fault any of the food and the souflee is to die for... At around %u2AC450 for 2, it is not cheap but for a romantic evening in Rome, I found nothing to match it...Besökare
