Om Michel Rostang
For lovers of French haute cuisine, Michel Rostang is a name to conjure with. His multi-starred home restaurant offers the full-scale experience, from wonderful service to beautifully-appointed dining rooms, to high-end ingredients, to complex dishes, to superb skill in the kitchen. Not far from the Arc de Triomphe, Michel Rostang requires a little searching, but it is amply rewarded by the experience. Starters may include gratin of onions of Cevennes with white truffle, main course of quenelles of pike with lobster cream, and a choice of puddings, but there will be amuse-gueles and lots of wonderful touches it is impossible to convey with a simple description. Be prepared for a formidable experience.

A credit card is required to reserve a table, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of 30€ per person will be charged for a cancellation within 24 hours or for a no show

Excellent service, waiters were more than happy to speak English and delighted to make recommendations on the menu. The sommelier was spot on with his choice of wines. The decor was typical French (although a little cold). The food was lovely and so well presented, however this was more than amply compensated in the gastronomic bill. Even for a special occassion this was excessesive

We were a party of 19 and each of us was made to feel special. A small group were given a tour of the wine cellar and when one guest declined desert the waiter suggested that perhaps she might light some fresh fruit, which was exactly what she preferred. Excellent venue.Besökare
