Om Med Kitchen - Gloucester Road
Good news for those of you who live or work in South Kensington; the area has its very own Med Kitchen. Ideal for the Royal Albert Hall or the Museums, you can’t go wrong with this brasserie-style restaurant on Gloucester Road. A contemporary décor, wood floors, muted colours and candlelight successfully create a warm, Mediterranean haven. This relaxed, romantic and trendy feel genuinely appeals to all – families, students, business folk…What keeps them coming back is the simple, honest food, from mouth watering breakfasts and nibbly little antipasti to hearty salads and mains such as chicken cous cous, sea bass and creamy goats cheese with sweet grilled veg. Grab a private booth for an extra special time. An excellent and affordable wine list includes a great selection of wines by the glass. Seating outside for up to 50 people, perfect to watch the delights of South Kensington life pass you by.

I booked Med Kitchen only due to the closeness to the Albert Hall so I didn't have any major expectations. However, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the service was very good. I'd have liked a bit better guidance with the menu ie recommendations for side dishes and it was a shame you couldn't pick out some of the dishes from the christmas menu but all in all if you want a good value tasy meal you can't go wrong here.

We went to the med kitchen in Gloucester Road for dinner prior to going to the Royal Albert Hal. This was an ideal location for the hall and with quick and attentive staff. The food was very tasty and good value for money and not too many choices which made life easier. All in all would go againRecension
Five of us dined at Med Kitchen, a late lunch before attending a carol service at the Royal Albert Hall. Food was excellent as was the service and the Albert Hall is in walking distance. Would recommend for smart but informal dining.Besökare
