Om Maroush 1
Maroush 1 is a must for all lovers of Lebanese cuisine. The original restaurant in Marouf Abouzaki's famous restaurant chain, it has become an Edgware Road institution over the last 20 years, frequented by celebs, oil-rich businessmen and their high-class guests. With kitsch décor, live music and belly dancers, this is a fantastic restaurant for group parties with family and friends. The acclaimed menu, with sensationally fresh flavours and perfect presentation, reflects the passion and energy behind the Maroush philosophy. Known for its attentive service, buzzing atmosphere – right up until the 2am closing time - and superb traditional recipes, dinner at Maroush 1 is a guaranteed fun night out for everyone.

Recension
After glowing recommendations, Maroush I turned out to be a big disappointment. With a party of five, we were forced to have a main and starter per head when we weren't overly that hungry. The food turned out rather bland and not value for money considering it was very pricey! The restaurant, although nice in side, was rather empty, though live entertainment was available from 9pm. Service was also fairly good, as we were served complimentary champagne and fruits/sweets.Overall, a big let-down.
