Set inside the exclusive five-star Vila Sol retreat, L'Olive is an award winning fine dining restaurant with a super-sleek interior and premier views of the hotel's golf course. Surrounded by 150 hectares of countryside, L'Olive attracts gourmands from all over the Algarve and beyond, and its chic dining room is decorated with plush gunmetal grey carpets and walls, Moroccan lamps and striped tablecloths. Head Chef Tell Wagner subscribes to the Alain Ducasse school of gastronomy, and his menu is prepared with the finest French and Italian herbs, flowers, fresh mushrooms, truffles and morels. Foie gras, scallops and home-baked breads are specialties here, along with the extensive wine list chosen from Portugal and France's most famous wine regions.
