Om Liaison Restaurant
One of Birmingham’s best independent fine dining restaurants is run by Patricia Plunkett and Ank Van der Tuin. The dynamic duo have been exciting diners with imaginative Modern French food since 1982. Each week sees the menu focus on a different region of France. So, for example, Normandy week would feature dishes made with apple, pork and Calvados. Everything looks beautiful, too, keen as they are here on contemporary (i.e. labour intensive) presentation.
Opening hours:
Sun & Mon: ClosedTues - Fri: 12pm - 2:30pm & 6:30pm - 10pm Sat: 6:30pm - 10pm

The Liaison is a nice restaurant, but quite pricey. The wines were extremely expensive - an ordinary white was nearly £19. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly. However, manager had no qualms about critisizing a new member of staff whilst she was serving us at our table, which made us all feel a bit uneasy.Recension
The meal was really good, and the service understated but efficient. There were few diners in the restaurant that evening, so very little ambience at all. The food made up for the lack of atmosphere, all individually prepared so not a "fast-food" experience. The highlight of the meal was my companions roasted cod with risotto - absolutely sublime! Portion sizes are good and it's worth leaving some space for the creative deserts. Overall - worth another visit!Recension
Most enjoyable evening with lovely food. They accommodated everything that was requested and made us feel v special. They could not please us enough. Sadly we were the only customers. But still it was v good a little chilly as we were the only occupants. Liaison Rest.Besökare
