Just a short hop from the non-stop of Nottingham, Langar Hall is a million miles from the city’s buzz. Set in a small country hotel, it combines an historic atmosphere with sophisticated décor and delicious fine dining. Popular with locals and visitors, Langar Hall’s intimate dining room has a classic sophistication, with white tablecloths and gleaming tableware, which makes every meal feel like a special occasion. The menu is equally simple and classic, reflecting the English country house style in the use of local ingredients, including a good line in meats and cheeses from nearby farms – the true taste of Nottinghamshire couldn’t be further from mushy peas and mint sauce.

This restaurant does not take Toptable bookings on Friday - Monday. Also they do not take any Toptable bookings for lunch.

Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 12pm - 2pm & 7pm - 10pm

Built in 1845, Langar Hall replaces an earlier manor which dated back to the Domesday Book.

Langar Hall Nottm. This has much improved since our last visit a year ago. Everything is now at a v high standard especially the relocation of the main dining area. We also enjoyed the grounds. V Good

having dined at langer hall many times for dinner it was lovely to see it by day . the grounds are lovely . the food is always very good , my main course of pidgeon was terrific , moist and pink , not a bit dry as it can be . my friend had liver and bacon againg served to perfection. and if you are lucky enough to see : imo: the owner she will make your meal even more enjoyable , she is a real star .

As usual Langar Hall came up to expectations. The Langar lamb was excellent. The puds out of this world especially the chocolate mousse. Knickerbocker Glories took us back in time and were good too. The ambience gets better each time we go and our friends who had not been before were most impressed. The lunch time set menu is a real treat at an affordable price.
