Om Lamp & Seam
The Lamp and Seam restaurant is tucked away inside the stately New Bath Hotel in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire. The 18th century hotel, previously used as a filming location for Peak Practice and Jane Eyre, has delightful views of the surrounding landscaped gardens and the Derwent Gorge. The Lamp and Seam has a intimate, rustic dining room with beamed ceilings, stone walls and fresh flowers - ideal for romantic meals, and a lounge bar with comfy red sofas perfect for sophisticated pre/post dinner drinks. The traditional international menu features favourites such as lamb fillet Chatsworth; pork entrecôte served on mustard mash with a rich asparagus sauce; and classic puddings such as the Bakewell tart and chocolate profiteroles.
