La Caravella in Venice was fantastic. We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food was out of this world especially the seafood. Ambience is romantic with very traditional venetian surroundings. We would definitely go back here.

Excellent service, we paid 170 euros for 2 course meal with one bottle of wine and one bottle of water. Service was attentive and the whole experience was worth the expense.

The service was polite but very rushed which made the overall experience at La Caravella an expensive evening out. The food was good, but the mains lacked vegetables. The aperitifs were the most expensive we had in Venice.

What a lovely meal. La Caravella offered us just what we wanted from our first night out in Venice. Attentive, but not intrusive service, an intimate setting, not to mention fine cuisine. The only niggling factor was the furniture. I know we were dining outside on the terrace, but the garden chairs were uncomfortable and I literally had to perch on the end in order to eat my dinner. A great choice for a romantic meal for two.

La Caravella is close to St Marks Square and has a wonderful courtyard setting. The food is well presented and high quality. The service is of a high order and very attentive without being too conspicuous. Woorthy of recommendation.

Recension
La Caravella, Venice, was the perfect place for a 'Landmark Birthday' celebration. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful to our group, the food was very good and the setting, in the garden, wonderful. Of course, it is not cheap especially with the Euro so high at present but it was worth it for a special occasion.

La Caravella is a great restaurant. It's the second time we've been there. The food is first class and the waiters are professional but very entertaining (at least ours was!). Only negative was that we were supposed to get a free house aperitif and digestif but I forgot to ask about it - yet they never raised it so it would seem their booking data system's not as modern as you might like - but this is Venice I suppose!

La Caravell is handily situated near St Marks Square The meal was to celebrate friends silver wedding so we were hoping it would be special and it certainly was. Food was excellent especially the fish dishes. The service was first class and we liked it so much we went back again two days later . Definately to be recommended!(hittade 8 recensioner)
