La Baranda is an Italian restaurant run by the Farnocchia family and located in the well-known neighbourhood of Santa Catalina, near the Paseo Maritimo in Palma. Its origins are based in the authentic Tuscan cuisine with its magnificent wood-burning oven and a cellar for those avid connoisseurs of wines. Stefano, manages the kitchen and has been serving Mallorcans, foreign residents and tourists for well over 10 years. At La Baranda, enjoy an authentic Tuscan pizza made with fresh ingredients or try a Foccacia (a typical pizza bread with olive oil and oregano), always served with a carpaccio, meat or fresh fish of the day. Also worth mentioning from the extensive menu are the fresh pastas and home-made desserts (the cake of the day is a hit amongst customers) as well as the daily suggestions.
