Kwai Chi’s residential surroundings belie its cosmopolitan aspirations. This
Asiatic kitchen and bar looks fresh, modern and, well, right for the food it serves. Rising a couple of steps above the attractive reception is a darkwood and cream-walled dining room serving an adventurous menu that freely spans Thailand, Japan, China and Vietnam, offering classics from each, as well as full descriptions so you know where you are. The drinks menu includes sake and Eastern beer. A (largely) Oriental staff offer a gentle service.

Pleasant place for an informal dinner. The restaurant is quite small, however it was also quite empty for a Friday evening. The food is good, and well represented.

We were a large boisterous group, who had not confirmed precise numbers before going. The restaurant had laid out the table for us in a helpful and as sociable arrangement as it could. The food is a mixture of various south east asian cuisines and was well- cooked and tasty. The service was helpful.Recension
