Tucked away inside the Hotel Helvetia & Bristol in an urban palazzo, not far from the Duomo in Florence, the Hostaria Bibendum is a vibrant and luxurious retreat which has long been the haunt of the city's artists, literatti and jet-set gourmet travellers. With a summer terrace that overlooks the Piazza Strozzi, and a strong interior which features bright orange walls, chandeliers, silk tablecloths and art nouveau detailing – Hosteria Bibendum is renowned for its down-to-earth Tuscan cuisine with a contemporary twist. Ideal for business lunches, cocktail parties and candlelit dinners, the menu at Hostaria Bibendum includes favourites such as the seafood and basil risotto, and the entrecôte steak pan-fried with olives and anchovies served with mustard.
