A slice of Americana in one of London’s most British suburbs, Wimbledon’s Henry J Beans is a jumping venue, always full to the rafters with drinkers, diners and socialites. Located on the Broadway it has a fresh and funky look - unlike the Henry J Beans branches you might be used to – with exposed brick pillars, cool lighting and easy on the eye colour scheme. Professional mixologists work behind the bar, mixing it up in style while waiters bustle from table to table serving up delicious comfort food with a serious American slant. Burger and fries fans won’t be disappointed but those on a health kick are catered for too with wraps, salads and sandwiches.

Henry J Beans is a chilled bar-restaurant with a dancefloor - but on a Thurs the place was fairly empty which was good for catching up, though the music was pretty loud and made it a bit difficult! Service was excellent, food good (burgers n ribs etc) but not greasy and good portions. I had a discount card so the meal was really good value, without it the prices are pretty average. It's further down the High Street so didn't know it existed but will be back for their salsa nites!

Had a really good night out at Henry J Beans. There were a group of 8 of us on a birthday night out and the staff, particularly Callum were really helpful and the food was excellent as was the service. Loved the whole experience and its well worth that extra walk down the High Street, great find.. thanks top table for the fab offerRecension
