Glaze its glamourous restaurant, continues the theme with a gleaming entrance taking you in to a dining space, bright and airy by day and sultry by night. The conservatory is perfect for those lazy lunches alongside views across the lawns to the lake. Turn your attention to the menu and you’ll find an exceptional example of British cuisine, all ingredients are freshly sourced from the British Isles and the menu is designed to reflect the seasonal variety of the produce available.

The Glaze at the Crown Plaza in Marlow is just another business hotel restaurant and even with the toptable discount the value for money was just about OK. The service was friendly but there were only a few tables occupied. The noise of room service trollies coming and going through the restaurant was also a distraction.

What a gem of a place! Looks nothing from the outside, but ambience inside is superb and matches the comtemporary decor. The food was fabulous and really well cooked. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is in the hotel. It is not very initimate......but worth the money. The restaurant must seat around 250 covers and we were only joined by 1 other table on the Tuesday night we visited, although there was a conference on with a seperate dining room. Simple superb!
