Located 30 km from Valencia, on the Valencia-Albacete motorway. Famous worldwide for its giant paellas that travel the globe. Listed in the Guiness Book of Records for its ?paella valenciana? (October 2001). This family, fully engaged in the restaurant business, started their activities at the beginning of the 20th century, in the town of Alcoy. It was grandma Eulalia Doménech who reached the banks of the Júcar after the Spanish Conflict in order to open the Casa Galbis de Gavarda, a place often visited by truck drivers and travellers. In 1963 Antonio Galbis, the son of Eulalia, decided to go it alone and moved to Alcúdia. Here, together with his sons, he has placed Restaurante Galbis among the finest.
