Om Jour et Nuit Bistro & Bar
Jour et Nuit restaurant in Midtown New York is the new and exciting incarnation of this important space at 8 W 58th. This interpretation of a classic French bistro fits perfectly into a supersmart part of town, with new cherrywood floors and paneling, blue velvet banquette and creamy walls with collage-like murals, though there’s a very chilled lounge area with dj and bar too, all courtesy of hip designer twins Derek and Daniel Koch. The menu offers trad bistro fare like Croque Monsieur, but specialties of the house include tuna tartare, braised short ribs and light seafood linguine. The crowd is international and stylish and a horde of bankers populate the long bar after work, starting the evening with a roar.

Please be aware that a credit card is required to confirm your reservation for groups of 10 people or more and a 48 hour cancellation policy is in effect.

Not bad food at all - though we found the waiters to be a bit 'over attentive'. The restaurant has been renamed 'Jour et Nuit Bistro & Bar' which made it initially hard to locateRecension
Since we had tickets for a Broadway show, we ate quite early and probably missed out on the ambiance. Even so the service was excellent, being friendly and responsive. The food very good although the menu doesn't match what it says here on TopTable. Good value for money and an enjoyable meal.Besökare
