The elegant interior, designed by Adam Tihany, aims to bring natural beauty indoors - literally. Each day, leaves collected from the park are placed underneath the bespoke glass plates, while behind the blinds 24,000 silk leaves come to life and change colour with the seasons. The menu offers creative Modern European dishes like red mullet with tomato couscous, mint and pea shoots; pigeon with red cabbage and endive tart tatin; and vanilla panna cotta with strawberry sorbet. The refreshingly relaxed atmosphere makes Foliage an excellent choice for business lunches and celebratory dinners alike.
A credit card is required to reserve a table, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of £25 will be charged per person for a cancellation within 24 hours or a no show. This fee is £50 per person and 48 hours notice is required for cancellations for Friday & Saturday night bookings.

Foliage - Thursday evening. Taster menu was very good, extremely flavoursome and sufficiently varied. A little too much use of 'foam' for my liking however. Service was impeccable and overall ambience was very pleasant - restaurant was not busy though, so I'm sure that helped. Would happily return again.Recension
Foliage at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park was very quiet during our meal there with only 3 tables occupied and yet they rang me to change my preferred booking time. The scaffolding outside the window blocked all views of hyde park folliage and that was a disappointment. The staff as ever were charming but the food was not always hot (tepid oxtail soup with shitake mushrooms and truffle oil) and my wife had a poached egg which was served "intentionally cold" so we were politely informed.Besökare
