Really lovely evening at Foggs in Camden - gorgeous atmosphere, cocktails and food - and good value too at £30 a head for three courses wine and cocktails! A good find.

The place was packed with other Christmas revellers which gave a really nice atmosphere, and luckily our table for 2 wasn't right in the middle of things. Very helpful and attentive staff, excellent food with incredible choice of global cuisines (some v original dishes), and the set menu was a treat as well. Definitely recommend the South African lamb curry.

This place is a nice place but it is going to struggle unless they buck up their ideas in the kitchen. We have the NYE set menu. Unfortunately, the quality was all very mass catering with a chicken liver spring roll starter, a fair but unimaginative guinea fowl main (with no veg and none offered on the menu) and an atrocious dessert. The dessert mentioned creme brulee but this was nowhere evident - instead we got a cone of tasteless and somewhat burnt puff pastry in a cranberry sauce.

This was a lovely friendly restaurant and has an amazing wine list. Great for couples and the waiters allowed us a good deal of intimacy for my girlfriend and I to enjoy the evening. Should be tried out.

Foggs was really good, lovely food and brilliant service. We informed the waiter we had a time constraint as we were going to see a show and he went and spoke to the kitchen who dealt wiht our request. I would go back.

Chocolate lovers rejoice! Get yourself to Foggs in Chalk Farm (North London.) The chefs chocolate dessert on the Christmas Menu is fantastic, we all thought we had gone to chocolate heaven. The Turkey & Cranberry main meal was excellent too. All washed down with a couple of bottles of Prosecco, Hic! Fabulous.
