Om Fistral Blu
Experience dreamy seaside sunsets and the tang of the salty air at Fistral Blu restaurant, a Newquay beachside favourite. The menu features an internationally-inspired menu of classic favourites - including excellent, locally-sourced fresh seafood – served in an informally cosy atmosphere. Large windows overlook Fistral Beach and the views are always stunning, no matter what time the tide is. Start with a sampler of Spanish-tyle tapas, and move on to local Cornish lobster (though they need 24 hours notice so they can catch you a fresh one). Drink in some house-made sangria while you soak up the sunset.

Fistral Blu was a great place for a casual dinner. The views must be spectacular during the day, as it is on the edge of the beach. No matter where you are in the restaurant, you can see the view, either through the huge glass windows around half of the dining room, or on the two screens broadcasting live webcam footage. Service was good. Food was delicious, with plenty of fresh fish and seafood on offer. There were also vegetarian and meat options for those not so keen on fish!

We booked Fistral Blu partly because of its location during the Ripcurl surfing event. It certainly has great views over the beach and the table was fine. Service was prompt and friendly ; the fish was good too. At the end of the meal, however, all of the waitresses seemed to have gone for lunch and we had to sort out the bill at the bar.Besökare
