Asian fusion restaurant Fat Buddha is a super stylish addition to Durham’s dining scene. Enough to send the North East’s most fashionable grabbing for a fork, Fat Buddha is a cool, contemporary space where bright colours and bold decorative statements are used to great effect. A relaxed buzz surrounds the dining room where groups of trendy young people sit at tables so shiny they’re reflective, flanked by cute statues of the eponymous Fat Buddha. The Asian fusion menu and wide range of set menus present diners with an incredible choice of flavours from throughout the East with Hong Kong, China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea represented. And if you just can’t choose (who could blame you?) there’s a mouthwatering tapas selection too.

Please note on Saturdays this restaurant has 2 sittings only at 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
