If you're looking for a little slice of sunny Spanish cuisine in the heart of Manchester, head straight to Evuna in Deansgate. This fine Spanish wine house and restaurant offers fresh, authentic fare alongside an astonishing selection of robust and hearty wines. With exposed brick walls, stylish glass tables and exquisitely presented food – the dining room has a buzzy ambience and is popular with with a young professional crowd. The bold menu features favourites such as the deep fried squid served with lemon, salt and salad; the Magro de pato – duck breast served in an aged port sauce with summer fruits; and Evuna's signature dish – the Pescados a la sal, sea bass baked in rock salt.

Evuna was almost empty at 2.00pm on a Monday, so the atmosphere was lacking. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff, the tapas were good, the chicken was delightful, Tortilla alright, but veggie friend found choice very limiting-tortilla & salad. Lunch bill came to £22 each, for 3 tapas(for £9.99), 1 beer and glass of wine, then coffee each.

Visited Evuna last night with work colleagues for dinner. We all went for the £20 buffet menu (breads, tapas starters & then a paella to share). The food was good, but I did not feel that £20 was good value for the buffet. Atmosphere was good, as was the £22 bottle of Rioja that we had. I would go again and try the a la carte menu.Recension
We were met at Evuna with a warm and friendly greeting , asked if we would like a dirink at the bar or go straight through we chose the second option. We asked for a plate of 'special' Jamon to be served with our aperitives and were delighted to to find this accompanied by fresh bread and ripe Olives at no extra cost. The Tapas menu was fresh and extensive and had quite a few variations on original Spanish dishes. The food was excellent and very good value. We will be returning soon.Besökare
