Edera - which incidentally means 'ivy' in Italian - is a tranquil little haven of Italian bliss located on Holland Park Avenue. With a young sophisticated crowd and a chic minimalist interior, Edera is a must for lovers of flavoursome, rustic cuisine, which has, over the years, been influenced by the region's proximity to North Africa. Signature dishes - such as tagliolini with fresh crab, prawns and cherry tomatoes - have evolved from the mountainous, Sardinian terrain. Make sure you don't miss the delicious malloreddus, a traditional regional dumpling made on the premises at the restaurant with sausage, saffron, pecorino and tomato sauce. The selection of Italian wines is superb.

I went to Edera with my partner for an anniversary meal. The food we ordered was delicious we didn't have to wait long for each course. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and my only criticism would be the lack of music and atmosphere inside the restaurant. I feel that this would have made the evening perfect.

All round, Edera is an excellent "local" restaurant. Sticking to their signature Sardinian dishes of pasta with sasuage in rich tomato sauce & Sardinain cous cous & langoustine delivered an two excellent dishes. And worth going back for. My partners Sea Bass was well cooked but plain, + if anything too many dishes on the menu lacked inspiration. that said the food is of a high standard and other diners all seemed happy. One complaint is the wine list is too pricey, reflecting Holland Park situ.
