The whole party enjoyed their experience at the "Duet" restaurant and would definately recommend this to other diners.

Recension

We were the only diners in Duets Cuisine at 3.30pm on Monday 19th November. Therefore the ambience was what we made it and the service wasn't really tested. However it was clean, fresh and friendly wtih easy parking and the food was great. We wondered about the concept of Indian and Italian on the same menu but enjoyed it hugely.

Duet is situated within the new Fort Dunlop next to the Fort Shopping Centre. I was expecting a fusion of both Indian and Italian food. Starters were brill. Chicken Shashilick as the main order was very dry. Lamb Briyani was lovely. Tandoori Roti not to standard. it was very dry and powdery. it was an average i've not tried the italian menu yet bit will do.

The food was very good at Duet. Despite having to serve both an Italian dish and an Indian meal for the table of two, the food arrived at the same time without too much wait and the quality of the food did not disappoint.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, staff were very polite and helpfull, good atmosphere in modern clean surroundings. The vegetarian menu was brilliant, so much to choose from. We tried the Indian menu, first course arrived within 10 minutes and overall the food was excellent (just a little too oily for my taste). Will certainly go again, must try the extensive Italian menu. Did not use the toilet facilities so cannot comment.

Recension

dined at DUET in birmingham, service was very good, fast and very polite. Food was of wide variety and very well priced. There was a bit of a delay with recieving the bill, but this was probably due to many people turning up all at once. Left there very happy, relaxed and ready to book there again for another eal out.

Recension

Meal at Duet was very enjoyable, I eat Italian and my husband eat Indian. Garlic bread is a Naan bread , not ciabatta as one would expect from thoroughly authentic italian. I had garlic Mushrooms and Pollo a la gorgonzola which was nice but vegetable accompaniements were extremely greasy. My Husband thoroughly enjoyed his indian.

Recension

An interesting idea combining the two cuisines allowing those that don't like curry to join friends that do. The portions were generous and the standard of food very good. We stuck to the Italien and on the strength of that will go again to try the mid week Indian buffet. Only real negative was that it seemed to be in a wilderness. We went Sunday lunch so maybe another time you wont get such a feel of isolation. Well worth a visit.
