Tucked away in a leafy corner of Notting Hill, Crescent House is a transformed classic 18th century public house occupying a prominent corner of Tavistock Crescent, offering to its clietelle a Bar, a Private Dining Room and a Garden Area.
With stylish and yet understated areas, Crescent House features polished original floor boards, olive green walls, a sumptuous red leather and solid yew cocktail bar and lounge spaces with open fires and restored 1920?s chandeliers.
The concept applied on Crescent House is to offer you an outstanding dining experience combining carefully sourced fresh British seasonal produce with passionate and inventive cooking from the Chef Daniel Ostler in a relaxed and still trendy atmosphere.

Crescent House promised so much in it's description, but did not live up to the hype! I booked a table for 5 via toptable, I was surprised when the restaurant manager confimed that a table for 10 was now ready! We were then cramped onto a table designed for 4 people, and despite the best efforts of the manager things did not improve. Food was average, bland and overpriced. Soup was tepid, and the venison sausages & mash were tasty but nothing special. There are better gastropubs around !

Crescent House had a very pleasant atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night. It was not very packed but still had a very cosy feel to it. Service was of a high standard - very friendly and warm. Food was good but not great although the proportions were generous.Recension
A nice place, but a few points that need mentioning - the side plates were set on the wrong side, the menu was very limited (only 2 desserts!) and the waitress kept trying to fill up my glass despite being told numeous times that I was driving - so not great attention to detail!! The food was good value for money, but the venue lacked atmosphere. Despite being told they were fully booked, there were actually only 2 other tables taken. I wouldn't rush back, but we had a pleasant time there.Besökare
