Om City Cafe - Glasgow
The City Cafe Glasgow is a smooth operator of a hotel dining room that's secured some real fans. It quite understandably won the "Best Newcomer" award a few years back, and is still cooking up a storm. Scottish gourmets understand these things. The modern decor is part of the success, as is the location - it's only a few minutes from the Scottish Exhibition Centre with a superb waterfront setting offering some pretty unique views. But the real star is the chef's stunning modern European cuisine. The food here is the combination of the best Scottish ingredients, cooked with flair and served with style.

Sublime food...not a scrap left on either plate and we even disgraced ourselves by ordering dessert! The ambience is perfect,and you cannot help but enjoy the wine,food and atmosphere.

Booked for Friday lunchtime but was disappointed to find that majority of starter dishes were 'off' after a problem with the supplier. General quality of the food that we had was good although we felt that there was too much emphasis on cream in the dishes which was not ideal for a lunch menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive.Recension
Was a Monday lunchtime so was fairly quiet, and therefore not much atmosphere. Was however very disappointed with the food - just a bit bland, and a bit expensive for what it was.Besökare
