The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Tempura Sashimi was paticularly good. However our experince was tainted as we left felling exploited when a extra crab cake, seeming offered on the house by the waiter, was added to our bill. From a very saitified customer to a disapointed one all for the sake of $6!

We were left waiting 11/2 hr for our table, only 2 out of 3 main courses came out together and left waiting over 10 mins for the 3rd main. To their credit we were offered free desserts, however I was charged for a dessert drink that I ordered instead of a dessert. We won't be going back there .

Really buzzy restaurant, music too loud, couldn't hear the people on my table! However the food was amazing, heaps of it and well worth a visit. Make sure you leave room for the desserts, they are out of this world!

On entering the restaurant you can tell that it is situated in the ground floor of a multi story office block, but that does not detract from the ambience and food. Our waiter was trying overly hard to be pleasing and could have been more sincere? That said great starters - the crab cakes are to die for! The main courses were "lost" in the hustle and bustle of the night, but that was a treat, rather than being received staright after the starter, Overall, good food and reasonable vfm!

China Grill I went there for my Birthday dinner after reviewing the details on this website. It was a lovey venue and the food was very tasty, although we did go for the special menu that was part of Restuarant week. Compared to other restaurants in this price bracket I would class this as the lowest but still worth a visit. The only slight on an otherwise good review was the noise. The restuarant is quite large and I did find that it was incredibly noisy and hard to hear others on my table.

Dinner at The China Grill in New York City was great. We let the waiter order for us. He sent over one appetizer/entree at a time until we said we were ready for dessert. Then he sent a great dessert along with coffee. We lingered over drinks, dinner and dessert for hours. It was a very nice evening!

Went to the China Grill for a special meal, and had a great time. The idea here is to order carefully, they explain that the portions are large and designed to be shared with your guests. Food is prepared accordingly. For 2 people the suggestion is one appetiser, one entree and one or two side dishes. We shared lamb ribs, drunken chicken and lobster mash. Fantastic. Drinks were varied and reasonable too.

The China Grill restaurant in Manhattan was a fantastic restaurant. The food service and atmosphere were excellent. The only thing that let it down was the presence of a staff member in the toilet to hand out paper toils to dry your hands. I am NOT an invalid.

The service at China Grill NY was fantastic, the waiters were very attentive and the food was great. Nice for a special occasion. Definately recommend it.
