Om Chez Clément Montparnasse
Chez Clément bring their charming eccentricity to the Left Bank with this branch, set on one of the main boulevards, but feeling like a haven of peace and country tranquility. The provencal blue, the warm kitchen-y yellows, the sweet flowers, the collection of artefacts from around the world, the welcoming curved bar all combine to make this a comfortable and relaxing eating experience. The French menu varies with the season and includes dishes like starter of endive salad with curried apples, main course of platters of oysters and shellfish for oyster-lovers, and pudding of warm melted chocolate gateau with raspberry sorbet.

They food at Chez Clement Montparnasse was far better than we expected , especially the meat which was tender and delicious. The decor is quirky and original with interesting 'sculptures' made from spoons. The attention to detail is excellent and creates a specisal atmosphere. It is a really special place to go for dinner.

Chez Clement was quite nice for a fairly typical Parisian brasserie. The service was good, the waiter was very helpful. The meals were huge but fairly standard.Recension
Lovely restaurant with great value for money for New Years. Not as happening as I would have liked (older age group than expected!) and it did not offer dancing til the wee hours as a result. Couldn't fault the food, service or unlimited champagne though!Besökare
