Very stuffy and I would say overpriced given the ambience. very old fashioned. Food was good but the overall atmosphere and experience let it down.

Chanterelle was a wonderful grown up food experience. Really helpful and delightful staff althogh perhaps not quite the buzz of other NY restaurants.

Chantterelle came at the perfect time. We celebrated my birthday on Easter Monday after a very busy three months and it fulfilled all expectations. It was expensive, but for a very special occasion it was really worth every penny. My guests raved about the food and we enjoyed the service no end. Perfect evening with friends on a special occasion on our first night in New York

Food superb. Ambience superb. Service superb...until it would seem we were being rushed out to accommodate a later sitting. Spending $250 a head, would expect table for the night. Disappointing end.

Great place! would highly recommend! excellent dining room with a clean crisp finish. Food great with an amazing cheeseboard. Definitely a must for a special night out! E.B.

Recension

Chanterelle does have very tasty food but we did have to drag the service from them somewhat. It would also have been a nice addition if there had been some kind of back ground music.
