When you’ve tired of the office and you’re sick of pushing your way through groups of wandering tourists just to get to the cashpoint head for Central Bar, a stylish haven in the centre of historic Bath. With a wide glass frontage opening in to a welcoming space with an almost living room feel the look is all about the retro glamour with funky wallpaper, leather seating and even three tongue in cheek flying ducks overlooking the black felted pool table. Whether it’s an early full English or one of a range of sandwiches or typical Brit bar dishes – we’re talking beef burgers and steak and ale pie – you’ll be glad you left the tourists at the local chain bar.
