Recension

Lunchtime Christmas Menu was excellent - the whole experience was a real treat. The Waiters were very friendy and efficient and with only one hour to spare the entire meal was well planned and we were all taken care of marvellously. I have never been dissapointed with this restaurant and give it top marks.

SM = We went to The Capitol Chinese restaurant for our wedding anniversary. There were 2 in our party. This restaurant sets the benchmark for others to try and achieve the same high standards. Did not choose a set banquet, as we have done previously. Dim Sum was delicious, as was the crispy duck. A main course of beef chow mein was too large even for two of us and contained vegetables cut out in various shapes, stars, fish etc. A lovely touch. We will definitely be returning here.

Recension

Service at the Capitol Chinese Restaurant was very attentive, and the food was great. Even though it was a quiet evening (Sunday) the athmosphere was very pleasant. Altogether a lovely evening.

Recension

I visited the Capitol Chinese Restaurant last Sunday to celebrate my husband's birthday. There were five in our party and we had one of the banquets. It was excellent, if a little too much! We honestly could not fault any of the courses and we were also able to swap things, for example my husband had won ton soup instead of the chicken sweetcorn on the menu. The staff are friiendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Recension

SM - Wevisited the Capitol Chinese Restaurant to celebrate my mum's birthday. As usual it was fantastic, excellent food and service. My only negative observation (and I am being picky here) was that the toilet roll holder was broken and thus the toilet roll was on the floor which isn't what I expect in this class of restaurant.
