The building of Ca'n Costa dates back to the 19th century when it was a large dwelling for farm hands who worked the land in the surrounding area. The main part of the restaurant was then a walled garden typical of old Mallorcan houses, where the horses and carts were kept. Since then, Ca'n Costa has played many roles in the community. It was the first cinema in Pollensa, and the two projectors exhibited in the restaurant are the originals from the 1940s. Ca'n Costa first opened as a restaurant 30 years ago and has evolved through many styles and cuisines over the years. The current owner and Chef, William Kaberry, is as passionate about the quality and style of the food he presents, as well as the charm, beauty and ambience of this house. Along with his young, enthusiastic team he devotes much care, detail and passion to all aspects of making your dining experience here a memorable one. William says: 'We aim to take our food to the 'X' factor.'
