Om Café Rouge - St Pauls
Located in London’s iconic St Pauls Churchyard, Café Rouge is a hit with cosmopolitan city workers and tourists alike. This popular chain of French cafés – with their signature maroon and cream colour scheme and wicker furniture - has become as much a part of the British landscape as hedgerows and chippies. The retro-Parisian mise-en-scène, excellent selection of coffees and croissants and the cosy atmosphere make Café Rouge the perfect spot for perusing the morning papers, sneaky chocolat-chaud-and-cake dates and discreet working lunches. The Frenchified food and wine menus include everything from croques, Kir Royales and baguettes to steak frites, syrah and beef bourguignon, and we highly recommend the garlic and thyme infused half roast chicken served with French fries, watercress and beurre maison.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 9am - 11pm

If you want to eat in a themed restaurant then Cafe Rouge is much better than most.Recension
Went to Cafe Rouge for lunch yesterday.Bit embarrasing as I booked it for my work colleagues but when we got there they had no record of my booking (despite a confirmation email form TT!)Luckily they had a table free.I had a baguette with a citron presse but the waitress took away the syrup before I had finished my drink. My friend had omlette which according to him was overcooked.Place was very noisy (due to high ceilings?).Might go again but only because lack of other cheap lunch places in cityRecension
