The original Café Mao, the one that started it all, this Chatham Row restaurant is young, funky and totally upbeat. It’s really no surprise that it started a chain reaction. With its minimalist look, the wide, open frontage leading to a bright canteen-inspired dining room decked out with huge pop art-ish images of the restaurant’s namesake, Café Mao is always popular with a cool crowd who love good food and a buzzing atmosphere. The Asian fusion menu will appeal to all tastes, covering all your favourite Far Eastern cuisines and encompassing everything from curries with a kick to tasty tapas and saintly salads.
