Om Brasserie Haussmann
Named for the man who created modern Paris and overlooking the boulevard that honours him, the Brasserie Haussman is a traditional brasserie in the grand style, with views of the open kitchen, a stained-glass ceiling, and a terrace for seeing and being seen. Brasserie Haussman is set in the Millennium Hotel in one of the swishest areas of Paris, so decor in the brasserie is just as smart as that of the rest of the hotel. The menu from chef Denis Bellon is classic French, with dishes such as a starter of duck liver terrine with apple and cinnamon marmalade, main course of traditional sole meuniere, and dessert of half-cooked chocolate cake.
