This cosy and contemporary café, located in the basement of the Georgian townhouse which houses Bon Appetit Restaurant in Malahide, County Dublin, has a super-chic interior with curved chocolate brown leather banquettes and sheer golden curtains. Café Bon is popular with fashionable foodies and young professionals, and the restaurant is open for dinner during the week and stylish Sunday lunches. The kitchen at Café Bon has a classic French menu, designed by Head Chef Oliver Dunne, which includes dishes such as the braised pork stuffed with cabbage served with a plum tomato sauce; the crispy slow-roasted duck with a spiced honey glaze, green beans and pomme fondant; and the baked custard tart with nutmeg ice cream for dessert.
