Recension

Our second time here, and it won't be our last. Amazing set menu including a fish course, and a meat course. Everyone served at the same time - there was nine of us - and piping hot. Service couldn't have been better, with our glasses constantly topped up. Can't recommend this restaurant higher.

Looked forward to Boix de la Cerdanya, having read reviews, we had an awful meal. Chap taking our order did not speak english so couldn't explain specials. The charming lady serving bread (after we ordered) could have helped but he did not call her over. Meatballs with wild mushrooms from the 10th anniversary menu, arrived 40 mins after we ordered, were luke warm and nothing special. No pulpo from the special menu at 2pm.Tepid chewy calamari. Stale tarte tatin. Burnt coffe. 60 euros wasted.

Recension

Boix de la Cerdanya was a hidden gem - we thoroughly enjoyed our beef carpaccio and monkfish carpaccio starters. The helpings were generous and made from the freshest produce. The restaurant was quiet at 7.30pm, but the service was friendly and we loved our complimentary bottle of wine!

Recension

This venue is very stylish, but was empty at our time, as the spanish eat very late. I stongly recommend that you don't book a meal to start before 9.30pm! The meal was excellent, in particular the main course was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. I would recommend this venue to any visitor to Barcelona. We got a free wine with our meal. We were given a choice of white, rose or red, we chose the Rose and it was excellent.

Recension

We dined at the Boix de la Cerdanya on 3 Feb 7. We had a very enjoyable meal. The food was well prepared and the presentation of the meals was excellent. We found the staff pleasant and very helpful.The waiter was able to converse with us in english. We found this paricularly helpful when it came to finding out about the ingredents of particular dishes ,assisting us to make a final decision on the selection for our main course. A pleasant and relaxing evening a good experince all round.

Fantastic restaurant. The food was excellent, and service was friendly and helpful (ten of us, and only one spoke Spanish). Knew it was the right decision the second we walked through the door.

The Boix de la Cerdanya Restaurant was very pleasant. Our party of eight was put in a seperate room. The food and wine was excellent. The staff were very friendy.

Charming service, hearty Catalan food in huge portions - the option to order some vegetables would have been welcome, though. Lots of choice for fish-lovers; save rooom for dessert.

Recension

Boix de la Cerdanya has an odd layout, and seems like it specialise in big groups with only a couple small tables. The interior is not as attractive the photographs shown. Service was efficient but not friendly nor attentive. Food was a bit like home cooking rather than restaurant standard, and non vegetarian friendly. Usually we love simple cooking, but the food here didn't use the freshest of the ingredients. They weren't able to change slight elements in certain dishes to satisfy our needs.
