Om Boix de la Cerdanya
A lovely restaurant, set in what seems to be a converted space with rich furnishings and artwork hung and set against exposed steel beams and brick walls. The ambience is quietly relaxed, with upholstered banquettes and white table linens. Named for its chef and owner, Boix serves Catalan cuisine influenced most of all by the market. Dishes include starter of artichokes with bocadito of Iberian ham, yellow egg and truffle dressing, main course of pork cheeks with bacon and potato gratin, and sweet of chocolate mousse. A children's menu, fine wines and thoughtful service make this a favourite.

Our second time here, and it won't be our last. Amazing set menu including a fish course, and a meat course. Everyone served at the same time - there was nine of us - and piping hot. Service couldn't have been better, with our glasses constantly topped up. Can't recommend this restaurant higher.Recension
Looked forward to Boix de la Cerdanya, having read reviews, we had an awful meal. Chap taking our order did not speak english so couldn't explain specials. The charming lady serving bread (after we ordered) could have helped but he did not call her over. Meatballs with wild mushrooms from the 10th anniversary menu, arrived 40 mins after we ordered, were luke warm and nothing special. No pulpo from the special menu at 2pm.Tepid chewy calamari. Stale tarte tatin. Burnt coffe. 60 euros wasted.Recension
