Om Bodean's - Westbourne Grove
You know Bodean’s restaurant in London at the sign of the neon pig, mecca for down home barbecue. Now Bodean’s is smoking in Westbourne Grove, right at the point where superhip Notting Hill meets hard-working Queensgate. As in other Bodean’s locations, the décor is 21st century diner with a great, friendly vibe, cheery waiters, authentic smokehouse food and super sports fixtures on the flatscreens. Signature dish must be the oak-smoked ribs with cole slaw and fries washed down with a pint of Coors.

The food was plenty, lots of meat so if you are meat fan this is the place for you. Shame about the lack of ambiance.

Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, but perhaps that was because it was between Christmas & New Year. Bodean's in Westbourne Grove is an excellent place to take the family. An amazing variety of ribs, but the helpings were not obscenely huge, and all deliciously smoked, rather than grilled and drowned in barbecue sauce. The pulled pork was outstanding & the beers well worth investigation. We will be trying Bodean's in Soho next.Recension
Bodean's: if you want a cheapish night out and some American style food this is ok but not the best, main course was a bit cold. Starters were good and generous portions. Staff were really nice and friendly.Besökare
