Blue is a very smart looking restaurant, and the staff appear friendly. The starters were all very good, but we went for the 2 courses for £11 option, and the choice within that is exceptionally limited, with no vegetarian option. We went to celebrate my son's graduation, and within the first 10 minutes, 2 glasses of pink bubbly had been spilled over his hired gown (which was white). Staff were helpful, and hurriedly rinsed and dried it, so cannot fault that. Overall - reasonable.

Slight confusion arose over the courses available for the Top Table offer. Apart from that the Blue Cafe looked after us in a timely but unobtrusive manner. I will return.

A great deal to be had was 2 starters for £11.50. My choice was the Grilled Scallops in shells with Tarragon & Garlic Butter and a hint of Parmesan followed by an Arbroath Smokie set in a Leek & Potato Tart with a Soft Poached Egg on top. All so good for a scottish soul!

Blue is hard to find!!! It would help if it was explained that the restaurant is in a building complex. It was worth it in the end though. Very tasty, good sized portions. Ta too much cornflour in the meringue pavlova else, really lovely. Atmosphere a little odd as very open plan yet quite busy.

The venue is quite modern/clean/sleek and interior well designed. The food is quite good but a bit on the expensive side - even with the offer it isn't too good value for money. But definitely will go back for the food and atmosphere.
